Staff at CHAR’s Thorold High Temperature Pyrolysis (HTP) facility recently hosted a contingent from Nextfor, a forest-industry led network of professionals focused on creating and accelerating new technologies for Ontario’s Bio-Economy.
Attendees of the tour were able to see CHAR's HTP demo plant, which is located in the new facility where CHAR's larger commercial facility, currently under development, will be located. The Commercial facility will produce 10,000 tonnes per year of biocarbon and 500,000 GJ/yr of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).
