The announcement, made on December 28th, 2023, places Nik among a distinguished group of new officers of the Order of Canada, including notable individuals such as Willie Adams, the first Inuit senator in Canada, guitar-maker Linda Manzer, and editorial cartoonist Michael de Adder.
Nik Nanos has been an integral part of CHAR Tech's Board of Directors since 2021. He is the Executive Chairman of the Nanos Group of Companies, a renowned research institution founded in 1987 and has a 30-year track record in corporate expansions, marketing, and reputation management. Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Nik has played pivotal roles in academia and policy-making. As the Chair of the Advisory Committee of the University of Ottawa's Positive Energy Initiative and a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC, his contributions extend beyond national borders.
